Can you help me with...

Generally speaking, no. It is difficult to work on a website that someone else has built and still guarantee the work that is being produced. Our team of designers and developers need to be able to set up kickass processes right from the beginning and working on your existing site usually means they can’t do that. For example, we might not be able to easily add in contact forms, build landing pages or integrate with CRM systems. Or there might be conflicts between plugins you are using on the site or previous code from the original developer might not be neat and may cause us issues. If you have an existing website then the cost of fixing it is probably comparable with the cost of our Subscription model.

Email hosting is NOT included in our packages. We can definitely help you get your email setup. We recommend using Google Suite (G Suite) because Google never breaks! Traditional email set ups through servers are temperamental, can break and sometimes have problems delivering emails properly, compared to Google, which is a cloud based email service that’s lightning fast and ultra reliable. G-Suite also comes with access to hundreds of free online apps including Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive etc. Your drive comes with 30GB of storage too. And because your emails and files are all on the cloud, you can edit them from anywhere in the world and from any device, all you need is an internet connection. This also means you can store all your company files in the cloud allowing for you and your team to access them anywhere in the world.

Pricing and subscription

The monthly subscription covers your hosting, maintenance, security and support for small requests. If you have any large request for changes to your site, we can prepare a quote for you at the time. All of our sites are also super easy for you to update.

Get in touch with us and we can either give you some quick tips, or send you a guide, or if it’s a large request (usually more than 20 minutes) we can provide a quote.

Bold Sites takes a different approach to a traditional web agency. Most web developers sell websites for an upfront fee and then charge all additional support and hosting requirements for an additional cost. But we understand that this model doesn’t suit some businesses. Our subscription offering lowers the initial cost, as well as ensure that your website is maintained and secure.

We don’t lock you into contracts which means you can leave at any time. If you wish to take your website with you we have a buyout option which is set at $2,000.

Just get in contact and let us know you’d like to cancel your website subscription. You can also log in here to cancel your subscription.

You website will then be taken down at the end of the current billing period.

If you’d like to take the website and move it to a different provider, that’s fine as well. Our sites are built on WordPress, which mean they can be hosted just about any hosting service. There is a $2000 fee to purchase the site out-right.

Domain names

That’s easy, just visit a domain host like namecheap.com to search and purchase your domain name. We can then work with you on the correct domain name settings for a Bold Sites website.

That’s great that you’ve already purchased your domain. There are a few things to consider for an existing domain name. Just get in touch and we can take you through any necessary domain setting changes.
